Zahnarzt Berlin - preventing cavities

A horse grows two separate sets of teeth during its lifetime similar to a human. They grow baby teeth and permanent teeth. When a horse has

grown its permanent set of teeth to completion it is considered to have a 'full mouth'. It is easier to determine a horses age accurately

when it is younger. However, with practice the general age of a horse can be determined at any stage of its life.

Why are my teeth not very white?

While we may do everything we can to maintain white teeth and take care preventing cavities and gum disease, our teeth take a beating

considering the battles we put them through. Many foods and beverages stain our teeth dramatically, and unless we are on top of teeth

whitening, eventually they yellow. Some beverages to avoid if you want a whiter smile include coffee, tea, dark sodas, wines, and

tomato-based drinks. Acidic foods such as tomatoes, oranges, lemons, and limes will wear down your tooth enamel leaving them wide open to

staining. If you choose to continue consuming these foods and drinks, it is best to brush your teeth shortly after.

Food. Some foods that we take everyday can cause discoloration and softened the enamel of teeth. Examples are soy sauce, vinegar, varieties

of berries like strawberries and curry mix foods can stain our teeth. Acidic and slightly acidic foods like lemon and citrus can also cause stain easily.
